“Race for the Cure”
Our office has committed to raising $2500.00 for the Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure. Race for the Cure is a program in the Coastal Empire, as well as across the country. To date, we are the ONLY health care office to commit in raising money for this cause. Our goal is to also bring public awareness to breast cancer and its prevention. So here are the ways that we are accepting donations for Race for the Cure:
- Accepting $1.00 per ribbon for the Christmas tree in our office. We are letting our patients decorate the tree with the ribbons that they would purchase here in the office.
- Accepting $1.00 per window decal. Just simply put your name on the decal & we then hang on the window in our office.
- If you would become a new patient, all proceeds on the 1st day, will be donated to Race for the Cure. We are asking for a minimum of $49.00.
Race for the Cure will be walking/running on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Our goal is to get as many patients (at least 100), to walk with us. We are excited in being a part of this wonderful cause! It is self fulfilling and just a lot of fun!!
To date, we have received over $1600.00!!
